September was a whirlwind with weddings, and Im so grateful we closed out the month with Meghan and Nick! I really push my couples to meet with me and do an engagement session pre-wedding so it’s rare working with a couple for the first time on their wedding day. Meghan and Nick currently live in New York City, while Nick pursues his acting career. That being said we didn’t have much interaction prior to the wedding day. But I knew just from our long distance meetings that these two were going to be an ultra sweet couple to document.

Meghan and Nick weren’t really into elaborate details or bling. They kept things simple and classic. What was important was focusing on celebrating with friends and family, having a good time, enjoying the love from everyone in attendance.

Staying true to this, Meghan and her ladies got ready in her childhood home, kids included. There were children playing all over the house, make-up being applied in the living room and Meghan putting on her final touches in her old bedroom. I loved how personal this part of the day was.

Later for the reception, we arrived at The Club at Shadow Lakes in Beaver, PA where we ventured around for portraits. Nick was so sweet and romantic with Meghan. He wrapped her up and kissed her with so much love all throughout the day. Among the winding paths, willow trees and the affection between these two it was too easy documenting this part of the day!

This beautiful golf course, which could be viewed through the large windows in the banquet room, was the perfect backdrop for dinner and dancing.

Since most of Nick’s groomsmen are either in acting or comedy you can imagine what a fun time the dance floor was throughout the evening.  Let’s just say there was a lot of sing alongs and group dancing happening.

Meghan and Nick are sweet, and funny and oh so kind! Here’s to wishing them all the happiness in this new adventure called marriage!
