The Best Micro Wedding Venues in Pittsburgh For Your Intimate Wedding

You're getting married to your best friend and plan to keep your guest list small. You can’t wait to celebrate with the people that mean a whole lot to you. You are in the beginning stages of planning and looking for a venue, you're not looking for a cold large ballroom but somewhere intimate and unique.

Pittsburgh has so many options when it comes to smaller venues for intimate micro-weddings. But where do you begin your search? Don’t stress, below I’ll tell you all about my favorite small wedding venues in the burgh.

Tree Pittsburgh

“Tree Pittsburgh’s Riverfront Room on the Allegheny is a sustainably-designed event venue along the Allegheny River in Lawrenceville. Whether you are looking for a unique wedding venue, intimate party space, or corporate retreat with a view, consider Tree Pittsburgh.” Can accommodate guest counts ranging from 24-50 people.

Union Hall at Bar Marco

If you’re foodie’s like us, you have probably enjoyed a divine meal at Bar Marco. The highly rated intimate wine bar with a delicious menu to pair is a must stop for a Pittsburgh date night.

But did you know they have an upstairs private event space which overlooks Penn Ave? The space has a minimalist vibe with large front windows which flood the space with natural light. At any given time, the walls display works from local artists. Making Union Hall the perfect option to add your own touch to or leave it as is. You can’t go wrong either way. For multi-course, seated meals they can comfortably host up to 65 guests.

KingFly Spirits

Looking for a slightly larger space but still one that can offer a unique atmosphere and craft food and drinks, then KingFly Spirits is perfect for you! A restored carriage house, located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Strip District, make it an ideal choice for for stepping out of the norm of a traditional wedding. Looking for an equally off-beat catering option? KingFly often works along side Black Radish Catering, who focus on veggie forward and sustainably oriented menus.

When booking your intimate wedding with KingFly Spirits, you will be able to choose from three spaces, the main floor, the lounge or the loft. Each space offers unique amenities and design! The layout and seating make it ideal for weddings with 50 to 200 guests.

Roost

“Roost is a non-traditional wedding venue nestled on the second floor of the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Pittsburgh awaiting your signature touch. Roost’s 6000+ square feet of  customizable floor plan with chic hardwood floors, modern rustic oversized nest light fixtures, and full-length windows can accommodate up to 200 seated guests.” They do offer several different intimate wedding packages as well.

The Graeme House at Market Street Grocery

This hidden gem, is tucked away down town in the heart of Market Square. Perched on the 3rd floor of Market St. Grocery, with heaps of natural light from large windows and skylight, plus distinct interior details such as the exposed industrial brick wall; makes Graeme House an ideal match for couples looking for a creative blank canvas space.

Market St. offers full bar and catering services and their chefs are more than willing to create a custom menu selection to fit a couple’s individual needs. The creatively laid out space can host wedding receptions of up to 100 guests.

The Foundry Table & Tap

“The Foundry specializes in hosting private events and can accommodate groups of all sizes.  From cocktail parties to weddings, we are happy to host you in one of our many unique and inviting spaces.  Dining options include buffet or plated entrees, and our Executive Chef is happy to personalize any menu to make your event truly custom and memorable, just ask!” A modern industrial space located on the North Shore makes this a convenient option just outside of downtown.

Sewickley Quarter

“Beautifully situated and rich in history, Sewickley Quarter is a romantic French Quarter-inspired wedding venue grown from the notion that love and passion combined with intimacy and romance lend itself to the fairytale wedding of your dreams.” An all inclusive space that can host ceremonies and receptions for up to 125 guests, located in Sewickley, PA.
