Buhl Mansion Intimate Summer Garden Wedding | Emily+Ryan
Emily and Ryan have that classic kind of love. The kind that has and will continue to stand the test of time. They just belong together. Easy as that!
It’s been 15 years, and the details are a little hazy at this point but Emily thinks the first time they met was either swim practice or while riding the school bus during the 7th grade. Being on the same swim team they became friends. Emily remembers asking Ryan out first, via email, before she knew it he was calling her on her parents home phone to ask her out to homecoming. Talk about a throwback! Ryan was quiet and sweet, Emily made him laugh...all of this still holds true today.
In November of 2018, while living in Orlando Florida Ryan asked if Emily wanted to go out to dinner. He was set on going to one of their favorite restaurants on the Atlantic coast called The Chart House. It’s the type of place that you go if you want to enjoy a fancy night out with really delicious food. Emily could tell Ryan was nervous and remembers thinking that this was the night he was going to propose. They had a wonderful dinner, followed by a walk on the beach. Like all good romantic proposal stories, Ryan got down on one knee and asked Emily to marry him. Of course she said yes!
Their wedding day took place at the historic Buhl Mansion in Sharon, PA. The guest list was kept small and intimate, the décor was beautifully planned and coordinated by Something Blue and the manicured grounds made for the perfect place to celebrate a warm summer evening reception. The day was elegant, full of style and most importantly focused on the everlasting love that Emily and Ryan have for each other. It couldn’t have been better!
