Working with Dan+Taylor leading up to and on their wedding day was too much fun! If you knew them and their group of friends, you would know that the only way to get married is if you’re having fun! Dan is the third groom to invite us to capture his wedding, out of an original wedding party we shot back in 2017. So of course we knew we were in for an exciting day filled with jokes and plenty of good times. Just as though we were reunited with old friends!

Dan and Taylor met at the beginning of the pandemic, quickly fell in love and realized that they were each other's person. After much observation of them and several other pandemic couples, I am pretty certain that if you start dating during quarantine and still love each other afterwards, you and your marriage will withstand anything. After years of nearly crossing paths around Pittsburgh (something they discovered after they began dating) these two are a perfect example of how timing is everything when meeting your favorite person. The love and laughter they share is a true testament to just how lighthearted and connected their marriage will be.

The day began with Taylor getting ready with a big group of her favorite ladies. They shared drinks, helped Taylor into her dress and laughed a lot. Dan was with his best guys, helping him get ready and keeping the mood light. The ceremony and reception took place at The Woods at Eisler Farms, which might just be our new favorite local venue!

The ceremony took place on a dock overlooking a small pond, nestled among the trees. The personalized vows they shared were almost identical to one another. Showing how much these two just get each other. The meaningful ceremony brought out the tears and laughs from both their guests and us!

The reception was held under a large white tent, with gorgeous lighting, wooden tables and chairs and traditional lush green eucalyptus for accents. This space just gets more beautiful as the daylight drifts to night, truly making you feel as though you are celebrating in the woods under the stars. And don’t even get me started on the draped string lights that illuminate the paths surrounding the main reception area. Dreamy is an understatement.

The day ended similarly to how it started. Friends sharing in laughs but with a few more drinks and lot’s more dancing. The dance floor was packed and at the end of the night everyone serenaded Taylor+Dan as they shared one more dance together. It was the perfect summer wedding day and we are grateful for these two inviting us to document it!
