Like you and many others, I believe in choosing environmentally friendly options whenever possible. That’s why when I began my business one of the first steps I took was to make the intentional decision to seek out print+product companies that operate in sustainable ways. I want to share those practices with you, so that you can rest assured that when you order products from your session or wedding that you are supporting practices that align with your values.

Utilize copy paper that is produced from 100% recycled material.
Use of electronic pre-press and imaging systems to reduce developers and film or plating materials.
Purchase renewable energy credits to offset the CO2 emissions from the use of electricity and natural gas. Credits are used to aid in renewable energy projects globally.
Encourage employee bicycle usage by offering covered and uncovered bicycle storage.
Use of fallen Mountain Beetle Pine for print blocks. Helping to reclaim 250,000 feet of fallen pine in the Rocky Mountain forests.
Use of print paper composed of recycled fibers which contain 100% post-consumer fiber.
Utilization of bamboo in paper, display stands and wood prints.
Use of reclaimed barn wood in wood frames.
Use of recycling bins next to all trash bins to maximize recycling and composting.
Recover silver from photographic materials which is sent to the refiner for re-use.

Work with other eco-conscious vendors like:
Follow a plant based+vegan diet
Limit single use plastic in our household such as bottled water
Drive a Prius, thrift clothes, sip metal straws, compost food scraps...okay you get the point.
Most of us who follow these habits realize this already, but never lose sight in that the fact that the small incremental decisions that we make in our daily lives+businesses are what will help shape how our planet will look 10, 20, 50 years from now.
