Stonehenge Lodge Rustic Mountain Wedding | Dylan+Josh
Life can be really weird. One day you are making new friends at age 13 with a girl in your English class. Bonding over a GreenDay band t-shirt. 14 years later, you're photographing her wedding and crying cause one of your lifelong friends is marrying the man of her dreams. How crazy is it that a chance encounter can lead to so many memories?
The same is true for Dylan and Josh who were just meant to cross paths. Again, meeting from a chance encounter they began their love story at UPS. He was her boss but that didn’t stop them from quickly falling for each other. But when Dylan had the opportunity to move to Santa Fe, New Mexico to teach, their relationship slowed and very well could have ended. But as fate would have it they re-connected to each other and their love only grew stronger. Once Dylan moved back to Pennsylvania their relationship blossomed and naturally Dylan became a dog mom to Josh's other favorite girl, they moved to Harrisburg and of course got engaged...all these moments leading them to their wedding day.
Their day was welcomed with rich colors on the tree leaves and blue skies. Im sure Stonehenge Lodge is gorgeous anytime of year, but as it is surrounded by rolling hills and old trees it's almost certain that it can be best appreciated during fall.
I may be a bit biased because of how much love I have in my heart for her, but man was my emo punk friend from high school an insanely stunning bride. The mermaid dress she wore paired with her killer make-up and tattoos made her a show stopper! Wearing a grey tux, Josh looked pretty handsome too!
Dylan+Josh are wild, loud and full of life. Their autumn wedding day near the Laurel Highlands was no different. The party started first thing and continued to the last song played by the DJ. All that mattered to them was that they said I do and got to celebrate with the people they love. And they did just that! They laughed and kissed passionately, they strolled carefully around the venue grounds and danced wildly under the reception lights. It was their perfect day.
here's to wishing these two so many years of
wild fights+passionate nights, love you both!
