Let's just start off by saying Lexus and Dan love their two cats so much that they included them on their cake topper. Point blank they are my kind of people. Not only do they love their kitties, they have an overwhelming amount of love for the people around them and for one another! Like seriously, ridiculously kind and genuine people.

Lexus and Dan met in 2013 after they matched on Tinder! That connection led to a date in Lexus’ college town. They started the date by having dinner and talking for hours followed with going to a pet store to play with puppies. Time slipped away and they ended up hanging out until midnight and have been together since.

So how did Dan propose? In December of 2017, he took Lexus to their local ice skating rink. Neither knew how to ice skate, but Dan wanted it to be romantic. Dan paused in front of the large Christmas tree and using Lexus’s great grandmother’s ring asked her to marry him! She of course said yes!

Their July wedding took place at The Fez and was dotted with shades of blue with gold+yellow accents. I already mentioned the cake topper, but there were several other meaningful elements added to the day.

Lexus wore her great grandmother's rings and Dan’s wedding band was re-purposed from his grandmother’s ring. They also wrote their own vows and exchanged letters to one another prior to the ceremony. Every word spoken was full of meaning and emotion. I seriously teared up at least six times throughout the day, because everything was just so dang sweet!
